It feels like only yesterday I was in the hospital with him, but in reality it's been three whole months. He has brought so much joy to our family and his big personality is fitting in perfectly to our circus! Last month he found his tongue, but this month (really in the past few days) he's learned how to make spit bubbles. He's starting to work his hands and catch a hold of anything in their path. During this quick little session he actually laughed for the first time!
This pretty new baby and her big sister did amazingly well at their newborn mini photo session at the studio in West Ashley. Big sister is falling beautifully into her role and is so sweet and loving with her new baby sister.
She loves being mommy's helper and her sweet personality and adorable giggles made shooting these sister pictures so much fun.
We took advantage of her short snooze to get some classic, sleepy pictures.
She woke up, but was content so we were able to get some wide-eye pictures. What a gorgeous little newborn! This was such a wonderful in-studio mini session.
She wouldn't have anything to do with me when we first started the session. By the end, I got this. One of my favorite pictures to date.

Winner announced September 15
We practiced over and over again. We got out to the field and he suddenly couldn't hold the pumpkin without dropping it. You wouldn't believe the coaxing (and promises) that happened to make this picture. Luckily, by the time we got home he forgot about everything promised to him and just wanted to run around with the pumpkin on his head.
I can't believe I'm posting this in August, but... mark your calendars for 2016 Mini Sessions! We start with Fall Family/Halloween minis and then end with studio and outdoor Christmas minis. More information will go out in the next few days and my email list friends will get first dibs on sessions because they sold out quick last year!
