6 month milestone session | Charleston Baby Photographer

You'll have to excuse the photo dump in this blog post, but my momma heart can't handle that my baby is 6 months old. I wanted to document each little detail of him because I know we are quickly leaving infancy and heading straight towards toddlerhood. Cue the tears! Scroll all the way to the bottom to see my assistant in action. He's loving the camera he got for Christmas.

Rhett, "baby Maddox" (the doll I use to practice with) and my pant-less assistant.

The happiest baby on the block.

Downtown Charleston Family Session | Charleston Family Photographer

Don't let their spring outfits fool you. This was a year-end mini session that we did back in November. This is why I love the South, especially the Lowcountry so much. White Point Gardens downtown by the Battery served as the perfect backdrop for this sweet family. After stopping to watch a wedding (the girls wanted to watch the bride and groom kiss), we popped over to Church Street to wrap up their session.

Tested out a newborn mini session today and my little model was a dream. Can't wait to share more from our session!

First Look | Yellow and Pink Newborn Session | West Ashley Newborn Photographer

I can't wait to go through more of these pictures, but here is a quick look at little Miss L. She is the light of her parent's world and she was so good to me this morning.

Mepkin Abbey Maternity Session | Charleston, SC Maternity Photographer

After weeks of planning, location hunting and then rainy weather, I was thrilled with how the evening turned out for this sweet couple's maternity session. Mepkin Abbey in Monks Corner, South Carolina is a beautiful backdrop. The grounds feature live oaks, old bricks and an overgrown field with wild flowers with the most perfect sunset. It was hot, the bugs were out and we even saw an alligator... just what you expect from a South Carolina summer evening.

I already called dibs on mom's dress if you were wandering :)

Check back in a few weeks to see their little bundle of joy! I'm so excited to meet him.
