We packed up our house in Charleston, South Carolina and moved to Kailua, Hawaii! All we had to do was survive the 12 hour flight and get 13 checked bags to and from. This first month was a whirlwind. We made time for the beach (Kailua Beach Park), did a few hikes (Pillbox and Diamond Head) and explored our new island.
