Pastel Cake Smash Cake
The colors of this cake smash have me smitten. I found this paper flower garland right before we moved and had it stashed away for the perfect session. We decided that a simple white backdrop and a little pop of color would be adorable.

We practiced over and over again. We got out to the field and he suddenly couldn't hold the pumpkin without dropping it. You wouldn't believe the coaxing (and promises) that happened to make this picture. Luckily, by the time we got home he forgot about everything promised to him and just wanted to run around with the pumpkin on his head.
